Friuli Venezia Giulia is a leading hub for research and innovation in the life sciences, thanks to its highly specialized expertise and infrastructure with national, European, and international reach.
It includes over 170 companies, science and technology parks, startups, national and international research centers, three universities, two IRCCS (Scientific Institutes for Research, Hospitalization, and Healthcare), three healthcare agencies, and a Higher Institute of Technology for Chemistry and New Life Technologies.
The synergy between research, business, education, and innovation creates a dynamic and competitive environment capable of fostering the growth of the life sciences sector and contributing to the economic and social development of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
